Our mission

Remain In Me Foundation exists to serve people who are hurting or forgotten, with compassion, dignity, and the love of Christ. We do this through outreach, education, prayer, and a growing vision for affordable housing.

Our story

Our founder, Marjorie Flores-Levert, says she has been held in God’s faithful embrace all her life. Through every challenge and blessing she saw His love revealed through the kindness of other people, and she learned that even the smallest act of compassion can carry lasting impact.

That experience shaped her heart for service. Feeling called to act, she said yes: to serve, to pray without ceasing, and to stand in the gap for those who are hurting. What began as a simple yes has grown into a lifelong ministry and into Remain In Me Foundation.

Marjorie leads this work with the support of her family and a community of believers.

Faith and purpose

“Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me.” John 15:4 (NLT)

Our name and our work are rooted in this invitation to stay close to Christ and to bear lasting fruit. We serve out of gratitude for what we have received, and we try to reflect that love in practical ways: a hot meal, a suitcase, a class, a blanket, a prayer.

We serve every person with dignity and respect, and our doors are open to all community members.

We serve neighbors in Duval, Broward, and Miami-Dade Counties, Florida.
